Holly started her career in the world of finance in 2007 as a secured loans underwriter and packager for a busy loan brokerage.
Following the credit crunch she moved to a large insurance company working in their complaints and compliance department. This led to her taking a job with Barclays as a compliance officer and later with Lloyds Banking Group as a mortgage advisor.
In 2014 Holly started working at KIS and in September 2015 she took over as Managing Director from her Father Neil.
James commenced his career in finance in 2012 with Next Step Money and quickly progressed his career in the short-term loans market. In 2016 he joined the Personal Finance Centre, where he again focused on secured loans and finding the best product to meet customer needs.
James joined KIS Finance in 2022 and brings over 10 years’ experience to the team, specialising in secured second charge loans and short term finance.
Neil has been directly involved in the finance industry since the mid 1990s, initially as a commercial mortgage and secured loan broker, later expanding into bridging loans and development finance.
Conscious that many people find arranging finance complicated and time consuming, in 2008 Neil set up Keeping It Simple Finance to provide a service dedicated to keeping finance as simple as possible.
In September 2015 Neil made the decision to semi-retire, although still working part time so that he can continue to look after some of his long-term clients.
Sue commenced her career in the finance sector in 1991, working for General Accident as a Mortgage Administrator. After a short time with London and Manchester as a Pensions Administrator, Sue joined a large regional care organisation where she developed her career as a senior HR professional, ultimately taking on the role of Director of HR & Organisational Development with responsibility for overseeing a workforce of over 3,500.
After 30 years working at board level in the care sector, Sue returned to the finance industry, where she now supports the team at KIS, providing advice and guidance in her areas of expertise.
Sue is a Fellow of the Charter Institute of Personnel and Development.
Sam started his finance career in 2013 at a large brokerage in Cardiff. He then moved to what is now one the of largest bridging firms in the UK. There, he quickly rose through the ranks and became Head of Bridging, a position he held for 3 years, before joining KIS Finance to head up our bridging department.
Back in 2019 Sam pioneered the bridging industry’s first graduate broker scheme. This was a great success, developing university graduates to become bridging and commercial finance brokers.
Sam has regularly been featured in the finance and trade press, including The Financial Times, Mortgage Strategy Magazine and Bridging & Commercial Magazine. He loves what he does and believes in doing everything the right way, the first time around.
Specialising in bridging finance for the past 11 years, Sam has arranged bridging loans for just about every scenario, hence has considerable experience in the short-term finance property market.
Outside of work Sam enjoys various sports, but especially golf, and going on adventures with his young family.
