I've just completed a Lifetime Mortgage through Neil Andrews of KIS (located about 300 miles away from me), everything was done remotely, by phone and email. I am a retired IFA (of over 30 years), so I know what I am looking for, and I found the whole process to be transparent, honourable and compliant. Neil was unfailingly courteous, approachable and knowledgeable, and followed up everything. (As a control-freak myself) I was never uneasy, and am really grateful for his thoroughness and attention to detail.

The reason I did not give 5 stars is because he was not always available to talk with on the phone, and others who answered the phone were unable to help, so I had to call back or leave a message.

Having made an initial enquiry via the online form we were quickly called by James. He was friendly and very helpful and went through all the option we had. We had an offer in principal in days and used it to get an offer accepted on a new property in need of restoration. From the on we dealt with Phoebe who proved to exceptional in all matters. I contacted KIS needing a quick completion in order to purchase a property that was going to be re-marketed. They made the process very easy and very speedy. Responses to my emails were very quick, usually within a few hours. The solicitor they chose was equally as quick. Sam made the whole process stress free for me and was very clear about the documentation he required in order to progress my loan. He also chased the solicitor and kept me copied in to all emails which made for excellent communication.

Friendly, professional service. Sam was exceptional. He maintained the highest standards of communication with me throughout my loan application process. Although the process took a lot longer than anticipated, due to problems out of his control, Sam went out of his way to ensure we ‘got there in the end’.
